Thursday

Hello!
I went up to the Homeland today... spent some time with Grandma, while Grandpa got into town for errands and such. I am getting very good at game shows, let me tell you! Grandma did very well with her breakfast and meds in the late morning, although she was super tired today and wanted to rest a lot. Which was understandable, since she said she only slept a couple hours all night.
It is always good to see them and help a bit around the house... wish we could just lift the Homeland up and move it to Hood River, though :)

Lots of love,
Nik

FIGURED IT OUT...

Hello Family... lots of love goes out to you all :)
I have the pleasure of going up to the place, that holds all my favorite childhood memories, every week! I wish I could go more often, but life without Greg is pretty busy! I go up every Thursday to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa, help around the house, and give grandpa a chance to get out and do whatever it is he does.
Last week was a really good day for Grandma... she ate her breakfast, kept it all down, felt fairly well, got her meds down, and had long conversations with me! Grandpa said he hadn't seen her smile so much in a while, and he got to get to town for some needed errands.
She got her breakfast down pretty easy, which was a victory! Grandpa was very proud of her, as he said she was unable to eat her dinner last night. She began having some heartburn and an upset stomach, so I suggested Grandpa get her some water mixed with baking soda... she drank it with ease and felt much better.
I must also say that Grandpa was in a great mood today, as playful and joking as usual! It makes my week to go up and spend time with them.
I hope I shed some light on how things are going with our wonderful family leaders...
Lots of love family!
Nik
