I just want to start by saying that I pray God will use this Blog for all of us to communicate about our dear grandmother/mom/sister and out of it she will feel loved and appreciated!
I was just looking at the care sheet and I'm curious about one thing: milk of magnesia. When I was there a few weeks ago when she was being released form the hospital, the pharmacist was going over her meds list. I distinctly remember her saying only to give her the milk of magnesia if she hasn't had a bowel movement within the previous 24 hours.
Has that changed? On the care sheet it looks like she's getting milk of magnesia every day.
So happy to be able to be more closely acquainted with the day-to-day!!!
I'm very grateful to have Anna, Jeff and Lynda nearby to keep a loving eye on Mom and Dad. Thanks for being such wonderful caring people! Hugs all around, Peggy
Hey HR caretakers - just wanted to let you know if you need to print more of the Daily Diary on Mom and Dad's computer - you will need to first open their Adobe Reader program, then open the diary document...if you try to open it the other way around, (Diary first), some weird Microsoft media program opens. but if you go to Adobe first, you'll succeed. Sorry I can't come out to HRV this weekend - I'm off on a little R&R to Cannon Beach with some friends of mine. I'll be in touch via cell phone, but not online...unless I find a wireless somewhere. I'm keeping you all in my prayers! love Anna
